Hi. I am now at the stage of re-furbishing the exhaust. The old exhaust is well past its use by date.
What are the 2 mufflers? Is the front one a catalytic converter? The Sierra is a 1981 1.0 litre.
Toying with putting a set of extractors on it. They are 2" exit pipe size, which I will reduce down to 40mm.
Alternatively megazip still sells complete exhausts.

Being a 81 model it shouldn't have a cat unless someone has added it

Pre cat sierras had a small straight through muffler where the cat is on later ones.

Getting an exhaust made at an exhaust shop would likely be much cheaper than megazip.

Hi again. Would someone with an early model sierra (mine is an 81) be able to measure the distance from the round cross bar on the rear chassis to the top of the exhaust pipe. My original exhaust pipe at that section was a bit of water pipe that looked like it had been bent around a fence post.
