My gearbox got stuck in reverse the other day, so I took it apart to find (not sure of the correct terms so apologies in advance) the screw/key that the gear tick pivots off to change gears had sheared. I've grinded a screw as a replacement but would like to know where the best place for an authentic replacement is. Also, since 'fixing' the problem, a gurgling noise, like air going through liquid is heard. Any thoughts? I'm going to drop the gear oil and change it to see if it fixes the problem.
May as well introduce myself as Im new to this site, joined today. Recently bought my 2nd 4wd, but my first Zook and am very impressed. Its not exactly stock standard.
Here's what I know of the top of my head:
- 30 Maxxis Bighorns
- All brand new suspension (which is bloody stiff I might add), came with the car - All stock however.
- 4 point external roll cage - also came with the car
- 2" Lift
Plans for future:
- Got some rust in floors, and in wheel arches. So cutting that out.
- Bigger rubber, not sure what yet
- Locker/s
- Fixing/ replacing the soft top, its about to blow off (just in time for summer)
- Hopefully not to far in the future some serious performance mods (turbo...etc)
Cheers,
Sam

Welcome!
You can get those bolts from Suzuki genuine for about $5. They are a shfter bolt, common part to break.

Hey,
The paint job was done by the previous owner, I was a bit wary of it at first, but it's grown on me. It isnt of the highest quality, and when it gets to a point where it looks really shite, I'll get it re-sprayed black or dark grey or something.
Also, Im in Perth, so if anyone else is then feel free to let me know and we can organise zook trips or something.
Cheers,
Sam
