yes it will do the job just not perfectly. just like you can take a vitara offroad but a sierra would be better

while im not gonna say these benders are great.They do work tho

If you have a look at my members rig page(appsie)
and (aerenandmels) they are both exos and other barwork done with one of these style benders.They are not perfect but have minimal kinks and both cars have been on their sides pretty hard a few times.Mainly used 32nb,but some 25 and 20 also

Im not so worried about looks, more about not bending everything in a roll, esbecially since my a pillars the metal is torn at the top due to a previous roll

i have been thinking of getting a benader for a while now just got a quote for one of these standard duty package for $679 with freight. not bad i thought. might be an option.

you can also help stops the pipe or tube kinking what ever you are using cap it and fill it will sand.

This is the bender to get. I have been using this type for bending 2" x3mm tube for rocksliders for various vehicles.

It will depress the inside of the radius and stretch the outside slightly flatter but wont kink the tube. As suggested above though, packing the tube with sand and welding caps on the end will prevent this somewhat. Similar technique to mandrel bending

Just to add now...
These new benders from Kincrome, has anyone tried one before?
I know it says pipe bender but it seems like a decent price and hoping it would do an alright job for sliders and rear bar work.

I wasn't able to find anything better in aust.
I use this for making roll cages out of cromemolly. Expensive to set up but you get a perfect bend every time.
But if you just want to make a dirty old low impact cage I guess you could afford to have half cocked bends.

They are pipe benders, not tube benders.

You can try heat, filling them with sand and all the other crap. They are cheap because they give a cheap result. They will almost ALWAYS flatten the top of the bend, and most of them will leave a dint at either end of the bend where the pins were resting against the pipe.

It will get the job done, but don't expect professional quality.
