well just got back from a epic beach trip
i split the alloy front diff
so these steel diffs will they fit my 99 v6 gv auto?
and what other stuff can i do to stop this happerning again will get diff dropbracket
was only going up a big hill had to give it a bit of throtle towards the end and bang spilt

It should bolt in - you may need to change the third member mount (there are two styles), make sure you get the correct final drive ratio.

can i not just swap the guts of my alloy one into the steel
and anyone know where i can get one in perth?

ok got a new steel housing diff man says all the guts will fit
also fitting a nylon bush
now i have lifted my gv about 50mm should i get some drop brackets for the diff?

do htye vary in the amount of drop they give the calimini ones say suit 3 inch lift not sure if my diff will be too low then ??

Are the guts still usable? I would have guessed the ring & pinion would have sustained some damage.

all good inside went up a steep sand dune dropped the front wheels into some tyre ruts
and tried to crawl thru and pop went the housing i knew what is was as soon as i felt it just put it in 2wd and drove out at 20kmh all the way to closest mates house 20 k away
