Hey all
Bought some second hand extractors and the damn things aren't a straight fit. Has anyone bought any from eBay and found that they were a straight bolt up to the cat? No modifications required. Maybe post a link?
Thanks fellas

No worries. Does the bottom of your front pipe (end of extractor) hang much lower than the chassis rails?

The ebay specials i bought come with a 3 bolt flange // not a problem if your replacing the rest but a PIA if using original system they sit with no hangdown at all // really well fitting do the ones on yours have the egr pipe ?? on number 4 ??

Yeah mine have the same flange to bolt the factory cat up but they end about 3 inches short and hang down too low. Just finished booting up the factory cast headers and I cracked one of them ARGH!! Not my week. I'm now committed to buying a new pair, hopefully I find some that bolt up to the stock system.

fortunately i have the tools and friends to assist in manufacturing my exhaust on the cheap using off the shelf parts , ( mandrel bends & so forth ) if you have access to some sort of welder the rest is relatively simple ,, trial fit , measure twice cut fourteen times ,,,,, you may be able fit an adaptor or quietly drive to a muffler place and they can work their magic
did you need a replacement header & front pipe ??

If you're pushed for time Oldmate, I can swing past the bottle-O & then past Squirrel's place of employment before stopping off at the fun factory for the night.
shoot us a sms if you get stuck.

Atari could you possibly do that for me? Would be easier than me trying to break out of jail for an hour. Greg I did think of visiting AAA to see if they can help me out. Still need to replace my cracked header, the fumes are making me high!
