For those who know, what is the largest tyre you can get under a standard GV??? Don't want anything stupid. The standard tyre is just over 27" so will a 30" fit???

NO lift yet, Was looking at some 245/70x16s today there about 29.5" so I might just have to wait.

they will scrub.

A 225/75 16 is the same height, but a little narrower.

Yeah, mine with dobinson and 15mm spacer which equates to 30mm up front rubbed on the firewall side whilst turning. needed to trim a little and massage with 4lb hammer

The rear wheel arch is the narrowest, about 30.5in or 76cm, and a problem for choosing a tyre, i know had to look around alot... i settled on a 225/70/16 to be safe, but a 225/75/16 will fit... i really wanted a 235/70/16, but not many 4x4 tyres come it that size, if any, and the ones that do, i didnt like... :D

245-75-16 is the largest tyre you will want to go under a GV. without lift they will rub alot. with lift they still rub but not as bad. Plastic trimming is required for them to fit nicely
