If I have read it right, if you cut your sills like this you will be able to reach up inside the B pillar, there is a small piece of metal joining the inner and outer skin of the b pillar about 4 inches up from were I cut the sill and depending on the size and type of dent you may not get enough leverage to push the dent out by hand. If you remove the seatbelt retraction part from the inside of the pillar you may reach it using a hammer and block of wood if its further up the pillar.
