Hey guys my sj50 is running wellish now I drove if around today a fair bit for the first time since the convo. The problem I have is the car drive like its not advancing the timing it's real laggy then picks up with big revs. It slso struggles to get to a 100 in 4th gear.
Is there a timing jumper or grounding in the ecu ? And does some one no what pins they are ? Or what the process is ?

Sounds like the same problem i had when i Did my gti conversion the first time. Under no load I could rev the motor like it was running perfectly, but under load I had to get above 4k ish to get it to move nicely. Turns out I had a dodgy AFM. Did you fiddle with the diagnostic port at all?

Well I'm not 100% sure, I sort of went into this a bit bla-zay, I cut the whole loom up and only left what I needed. So I yeh guess I did fiddle with it haha
What pins are they in the ecu?

Ahh I don't remember. When I'm on a Computer later tonight I'll look it up on my wiring diagram. I wonder if you accidentley locked the timing. Look for a violet/green wire and make sure it isn't grounded somewhere.

A6- violet ( check eng light) A11- violet/green (ground this wire to lock timing) A19- violet/red (dunno what this does) A24- violet/yellow (ground the check error codes with check engine light) B13- violet/ white (dunno what this does).
They are the data lines. If you do chopped these out; wire them back in.
