I have a suzuki siera with a 1.6 carby vitara motor in it. I have the standard 1.3 radiator in it with a thermo fan, was wondering if i will have problems over heating it on the beach on a 40 degree day.

Maybe, best way to find out is to try it. Any particular reason for the electric fan? A viscous fan off a Vitara will move heaps more air.

It's hard to say whether or not you will have issues because evey vehicle is different, bigger tyres for example may affect engine temp. Lot's of of vehicles will have a hard time in 40deg heat and soft sand. Your best bet is to make sure all of your cooling system is up to scratch. So that may involve getting your current radiator professionally flushed out and new hoses/thermostat if needed.

Have you mounted the thermo fan on the front of the radiator or have you removed the original engine driven fan and mounted it on the rear?

have taken of the engine fan and mounted the thermo fan behind the radiator, did this to get better cooling, also have near new radiator on the car.

It will be fine mate. My swb hard top was a 1.6 carby with aircon and no engine fan. Even when towing it was fine.
