OK so my arb bar is on its way (thanks Shep) just wondering what size winch's people are using what the biggest warn winch that will fit?

Pretty sure ARB say 6500lb is max for an ARB Sierra bar...

I run a 9500lb winch in a bar I made myself and wouldn't go any less.

I run a tigerz11 12000 pound winch with rope in my ARB bar and it is awesome for pulling a little zook. :D

My ARB bar cost me $1130 fitted and im getting a 9000lb T-Max winch $900 fitted

But the ARB bar is only rated at 6000lb, but alot of members here told me i should be ok with it

Yeah the bar is made for a 6000pd winch but I have modded mine to fit a Warn XD 9000 just had to remove the fairlead roller brackets and drill two new holes to mount the Complete roller set up on the face of the bar not hard to do.

yeah I want to run a XD 9000 as well (my zook is 1/2 landcruiser anyway)

6000 lb in mine it doesnt even know a sierra is attached.
you shouldn't need any more in a sierra,and just use a snatch block when pulling those really stuck trolls and cruisers.
my 6000 lb winch weighed 23kg with steel cable with rope its well under 20kg.
