You would assume they are the same....but it's a coily!! If they are not the same they would have to be pretty bloody close

I did mine myself.
$80 bucks for the marine carpet
$40 for auto trim double sided tape
Made templates with an old tarp,a day later, and a lot of cutting and re shaping, my zook had carpet!

Hey OMalley, would double sided tape be good to stick carpet to the roof?

Fatzook - Ill have pics in a sec
Jonno - yer mine wouldn't of cost as much if i went for normal auto carpet, plus the double sided tape wasnt that essential. Would have been looking at about $40 or $50.
PJ - Nah, Not the stuff i used anyway. Would be too thin, something with a bit of thickness might hold carpet to your roof but i doubt it, relatively heavy stuff for tape. Hang on, why do you want carpet on you roof?
Cheers

Im upside down a lot. Nah, just want to stick some thin marine carpet on as a rooflining, cant think of how to do it unless i get a truckload of magnets to hold carpet up while drying.

it is contact glue ya peanut there is no holding of anything. ya put it on
both surfaces and when they are put together they instantly stick.

Have been looking at carpets for the next step in the zook restoration myself, I have found a website for a mob down south called tru-fit carpets, they have heaps of stuff and were very helpful when I rang, just google trufit carpets and you will be cheering.
