how much are 4 king springs, some supercheap shocks and a handful of scissor jacks?

I wish I had $1400 to pay somebody for suspension that no better than a $500 kit I cobbled up myself!!!!!

just wondering what the reason is you don't want to run the commo/toyo shock combo, it seems to be a proven combination?

in the end you'll end up wanting a longer shock...

yer i no i need a longer shock but with commos u have to extend the bump stop to stop the shock bottoming out ? correct which mean by extending the bump stop 25 mm u only gain 25 mm up travel from a 2 inch lift kinda defeating the perpuse in my opinion just how i look a it tho so correct me if im wrong

cheers luke

So just buy OME shocks, OME springs, bushes from bruce, Ubolts from any suspension shop and save yourself $600.

it's more forced articulation... when the axle hits the bumpstop it wants to push the other side down, well thats my understanding of the situation.

your missing the point.

you can be sitting on bumpstops at ride height and have only droop if you want.

extending bumpstops lets you fit a longer shock in the standard mounting position... resulting in MORE travel.

My bumps are not extended. (i should extend them) Not hard!

2" lift, you will hit the bumps less then me! mine is prob spring 1"lift.

Don't worry. It won't make a scene.

The price of that kit is rediculous.

Buy springs only. Bruce bushes. And go shopping for shocks.

My pos shit shocks are second hand, cost me $40 all together. They are still in suz since i bought them 1.5yrs ago. And they are fine.
Not bouncy bouncy like my rolla's front end....

thats fine by me, waste you money on the full ARBTJM kit then in 6 months time when you realise you want longer shocks you can come back to this thread & buy the recommended shocks that everyone suggested.

lol you kiddies will never learn

how about if it makes you anti Ford Holden ego feel better we jsut refer to them by their Gabriel part number, then you can tell your friends thats what you have and they wont know what that means so will go WOW AWESOME HARDCORE and youll be like all cool and stuff

you asked which way to go, people who have tried it all and worked out what works answered and you ignored em, the sierra specific shocks from all the usual brands are way to short to be useful, some OME dont even fit a lifted sierra!!!!!
