i have a vitara air con compressor and power steering pump, hoses, and box which i am going to put in my sierra. i have to talk to bent to get a steering wedge kit off him for the power steering but i am unsure of what parts off the air con system i need to set up endless air. does anyone have a good write up on how to do it and what i need. i did a search but not much found. my sierra has a 1.6 efi baleno engine in it with a multi v pulley on it so that should be fine and would i be right to assume the vitara and baleno blocks are the same? eg it should all bolt on?
thanks greg

There is a few ways to set it up. Both require a tank to hold the air..

They compressors require lubrication.. The kits you buy come with an oiling system on the intake..

The other way is to manually do it. I know of people that do it this way and never have a drama with it...

The system isn't hard to set/wire up.

The only thing your need is the compressor and brackets to bolt it to the block.. I would also grab the lines that run to the compressor so you can use the aluminium ends to make up the lines to feed to the tank and the other for the inlet..

Then you will need a tank with 3 holes.. One for inlet, one for the outlet and one for the pressure switch. A relay, fuse holder and some cable/ wire.

I would run without an oiling system and just put some in before each use.

Vitara ps pump bracket will not bolt onto Baleno block. Different.
Im guessing the aircon bracket is different also.

I had to modify it my pump bracket.
