I do a bolt on adaptor to fit Cressida / Celica p/s boxes. Some Crowns are also the same, although the one in your pic looks different, with the sensor on top.

Have you got any more pics of the box out of the car?

$220+shipping is for my Vitara kit which has a machined wedge.

The adaptor pictured above is for the Toyota Celica / Cressida power steering box.

Price for the adaptor and countersunk cap screws to bolt it all together - $95. For a kit including a mount adaptor for fitting the Vitara pump to the block - $145.

Shipping = $12 for just the mount, $18 including pump mount.

As long as its box and not rack and pinion! Some are non p/s too.

Most Celicas / Cresidas / Corona's and possibly some Crowns from late 70's to early 80's had the same steering box .

First up you need to check that it is the correct box. It looks different to the Celica / Cressida boxes, although it may still have the same bolt pattern, and may still work.

Second, you will need to make a pump mount if you want to use the Toyota pump. My pump mount bracket is for mounting a Vitara pump (which works great with the Toy box)

Third, you will need a double row front pulley. Allready there if you have a 1600 conversion.

Fourth, you will need a Vitara pitman arm to go on the box. The Toyota one has a balljoint in the end rather than a tapered hole, so doesn't work with the zuk links. A vitara one will bolt on to a Celica or Cressida box.

Fifth, you will need to get a hard line made up to go from the box to the pump for the high pressure line. Make sure you get the flare nuts off the donor vehicles so you can get one of these made up. The return line is just a rubber hose held on with hose clips.

Sixth. Like bluesuzy says, belt and fluid and thats about it.

crown boxes have a different bolt pattern than cressida, and also thier input shaft length is not the same so you will have to shorten your intermediate shaft. if you plan on using wedges and one day engineering your car check with an engineer as often those types of wedges will not be allowed. drilling two holes in the chassis and sleeving them correctly is quite simple. also, a million and one lancruiser arms and daihatsu arms (also jimny) will fit too.
