dave the reason people r starting to dislike u and want to bann u again is how u aproatch things instead of saying that some brands will use a slighlty different or lesser quality u just run pee shooters blazing saying that they r all shit that u should use this and that and this but thats just ur experiences
to be honest ur really starting to dribble more shit then useful information
(hell i no im full of shit to)
its just teh way u try and stack ur info up that makes it so easy to be knocked over straight back on u
when ur looking at ur 6.5 gears just do a lil bit of research and try and find the best kit for u
thats my 2 cents cheers buzzy

On 99% of t-cases you pull apart you will see worn surface hardening that the needle roller bearings run on. This increases clearances between your gears which creates noise and backlash.
IMO, I think it's very much advisable to replace this shaft when installing aftermarket gears. I must have been lucky when doing Shep's. It was in very good condition inside even after belonging to a rough bastard.
haha it was a transfer that i got of ebay, post 94 model as they have the good shaft.

The bearings/seals you get in the kit from any of those sites are of very pore quality I have now built about 10 6.5s a couple 4.6 and re-bearinged a few. You want to get the gaskets and nothing else from those online places. Spend the extra $10 or so and talk to "Weaves" on here and get good bearings and seals. Don't hold weaves to it but from memmory he can get you all the bearings and seals for around $75. I have had plenty of broek cases come accross my work bench and not once have I found one that has failed due to the output shaft. But it is only $100 so that is up to you. in the kit from Weaves what bearings and seals are included, is it every bearing and seal in the transfer case?
He only has the bearings and shaft seals. He will give you exactly what you need all you need to do is ask. He does not have the case seal/gasket. I have a few extra if you cant find any. But you should be able to get them cheap from suzuki. You don't need to use sealent but it dosn't hurt. Just don't use anything that is too thick. Any good trans sealsnt is good.

I am not good at putting toughts into writen words but I know the point I want to get accross. If you look past my bad delivery of my posts you will see what I am trying to say is normaly right. But because I don't know how to word things to where you the other readers can understand it from the first post you all find ways of spinning shit around.
It always turns around and makes it sound like i am dribbling shit simply because I am not good at my delivery.
Whats funny to me is how upset you all get. Secondly I think you all get confused between when I am being stupid and when I am actualy being helpfull. Mabey I need 2 log ins one for when I am being helpfull and the other for acting funny.

I used permatex ultra grey sealant with the paper gasket on my T-case, seems to be doing the job...
