yeah as atari said, it depends on how long the spring is and how much lift you have.

taken from that link:

The vc-vn wagon commo shocks by Gabriel are 530/320 open and closed measurements. this is good for about 2-3 inches of lift. Vt wagon commo shocks by Gabriel are 550/325 open and closed. this is good for 3-4 inches of lift/ travel. there are other commo shocks that are 650 long which is way too long, i dont know what model they are from.

82-88 rear camira shocks has a nice length of 552/324 that might fit also. Monroes part # 15-3145, $150 a pair from autobarn.

I just ordered some nissan nomad shocks today. will collect soon and let youz know how they go. lengths are good at 542/320, will have to see about the eye, bush situation.

u could maybe go with the vt shocks, but u need to find out the length of the coil unloaded or freestanding (inc spacer) or measure length between shock mounts. (disconnect lower shock mount, use jacks or a ramp and keep going till the spring becomes slightly loose, not to loose as it may fall out. once loose measure the distance between the top and the bottom mounts, this will give you the open length of ur required shock.)

i have just put in vt shocks, had to screw around a bit but well worth it in the end.

see this is why i wanted to have a bible section on here there all the tech threads with info can be stuck and people can search through it to find out what was talked about.

Blake i just did a thread where i put up whole big list of shocks we can use and their sizes. check through my threads to find it. its called commodore shock question i think. some pics are there also.
