Hiya all,

I'm looking into buying a new starting/cyclic battery. I currently have a Supercharge Allrounder which is starting to tire after 3 years.

I was thinking about buying an Exide Extreme but what about marine batteries as they are designed for high vibration and starting/cyclic loading?

Something like this: Exide Marine

They seem to be a bit cheaper then the automotive equivalent in the same size.

What do you guys think?

Marine batteries are good for 4wding as they are normally built to withstand harsh vibrations moreso than passenger vehicle cars. I'd use one if it was around the same price.

As Dank said, if you can get it for a reasonable price, go for it.
