Just wondering if you can get longer front shocks for a Coily? If so where, and how much?
I just put some 40mm Spacers in the front, to level it out because of it sagging due to the winch/bar.
Car allready has 2" Spring lift (Lovell springs i think)
And now ive got pretty limited shocks left compared to the backk, It doesnt feel to bad to drive, just concerned.
Cheers. Jamon.

hey the only ones are ultima struts and ebay sell them for 200 a pair normally. but they are only 40mm bigger. what i did was spun up some extensions on the lathe. but i have custom 100mm rasised coil springs.

I fail to see how extending the shaft on a strut would give you more travel, height I can understand but not travel

i think he means by putting the new strut in you gain travel
and by doing the extension you gain hieght plus crash and die when they break

I've heard of a few guys fitting Hilux lifted front struts with minimal mods into the front of the coily, I'll be looking
at this in a few weeks. Will do a write up in the Tech Section if anyone's interested.

we should start calling them a "pic up" in sted of a "write up"
