EPI manifold (and 20mm timing belt I think) is unique to the Mk1 gti.
Looks to be complete with the exception of crank and waterpump pulleys.
A good addition to a suzuki cino, a bad addition to a suzuki sierra.

Yeah definitely mk1 afm on the intake manifold another dead giveaway.
You will need a mk1 ecu to make it work.
Thats if he is gonna give it to you.
There is a bloke on Redline that had a moke that sounds like you described.

argh i want to be the first
mk1 gti
the fact it will have g13b on the side of the block should be a dead give away!
with that motor, you can also run the angle drive dizzy... and it is a good addition to a sierra. (maby not the best, but better than stock. especialy if its free)

There was a moke around a few years ago, with a gti motor in the hillclimbs it was a bloody rocket ship and won a few of the sport sedan class, against v8 and rotor thingies...

I was looking for a Moke before I got the Sierra - that one's awesome. Few bikkies spent there.
Hard to know what he might be running after seeing the tyres... i'd guess a 1.3 at least... it'd be a fun little cart.
