Hey guys recently my 93 vitaras 5sp did the crunch dance, and since then alot of people carry on about how the the gearbox is a weak unit is this true?

I read that in the lemon book, I thought it was mainly an issue with a part of the gearstick falling into the box and making it hard/impossible to select certain gears.

What's the problem, is it totally gone or just certain bits/gears?

im thinking a bearing collapsed, its no drama im on the 3 day of fucked second hand boxes from the wreckers, i was meanin weak like low quality bearing gear prone to failing stuff like that
