Do I have to empty the tank??? That is gonna be a bit shit. Just fueled up before it started not working.........
I have already checked all the plugs with the feeler guage all are spot on.
Fuel pump should be good because it is only about a few months old.

My zook did almost exactly the same thing and it was the negative battery clamp. It was on enough to run the car but every now and then, nothing at all. check both ends of the earth as it could of rubbed out somewhere.

Ok. Well all was running good but I finally got it to die. And it is still dead. So I towed it home with dad and took one of the leads off to check for a spark when we tried to kick it over. And there is nothing at all..
So no spark whatsoever. I will check earths etc now.

does it run now after it's cooled down?
royce wrote: so it still dies?
if so when it dies, then check for spark, if there is none and it comes back later its a heat thing, probably the ignition module

No... It was sitting there all afternoon. And I tried it. No luck. It has a new ignition coil in it as well if that means anything.

Yes.... All fine was not the answer I wanted, What do they do when you turn the key to start the car..
& yes I know it won't start, answering this question will eliminate some ting's, but if they are fine that's fine.

So it turns over but no spark?
Pull the dizzy cap off and turn it over.
Does the rotor turn?
Just thinking outside the square.

Ok... It turns over.. The engine doesnt actually kick and start but it tries.
When I turn the key on the Oil, Handbrake and Battery lights are on.
Once I start to kick it over the Oil light turns off and stays off.
I took the Dizzie cap off and tried to kick it over again... And the rotor does spin. Not very fast but I am not sure what speed it is suposed to spin. It kind of jumps a quarter turn every time the engine tries to start.

When it died, did the radio turn off first??
Have you tried jump starting it??
If that work's & it run's, get an alternator for it, your will of dropped a phase.. or the fuse able link at the battery is burnt.

check again now to see if you have spark, if you dont get a test light and check you have power on the + terminal on the dissy with the key on, if no check the fuse, if yes no hook the earth lead to teh - on the dissy and leave the probe on the + and turn it over, if the light flashes the coils likely rooted, if not its the module in the dissy, cant replace this bit its a whole dissy time

Ok I didnt get a chance to jump start it. As it started first go when I finally got a chance this morning. I took it for another run. And I realised that it only dies.. On a bumpy stretch of road. So I thought it could be a loose connection somewhere...
So I pulled over while the engine was still running and played around with a few wires. (Not the smartest idea I know)
But I bumped into the wire that goes to the top side of the Ignition Coil:
And the engine died. So I moved it around and started the engine again. Bumped it again. And Alas the engine died. So could this be the problem??
