Hey guys, ill keep it nice and short

First

I think i got water in my fuel tank and just wanted to know how i can remove it and whats the best way

Second

every time i brake my sierra pulls hard to the left and its wores when you brake harder its feels like the brake is stuck on well one side that is

and just before i went to wash the rims and tyres thinking it had something to do with the dirt on them and the right front disc brakes where steaming like a sorna when i sprayed them with water

so what could this be ??

either remove & drain the tank or chuck in a cup of methylated spirits.

If you car pulls to one side, it sounds like your caliper is frozen on. Do you get that wonderful smell of hot brakes when you drive? I had one of my calipers lock on and it damn near drove me off the road when i braked. Easy to check.
Jack up the car and remove the wheel
Undo and remove caliper
If you remove the brake master cylinder lid you should be able to push the brake pad back into the cylinder easyish.
If it is frozen on, get a bucket and put the caliper in it.
Jump in the car and push the brake pedal. The hydrolic pressure should be enough to force the cylinder out. My was really shagged and this work. Made a pretty mess but got it apart enough to put a caliper kit (new rubbers) on and remove the rust that was on the front lip of the cylinder.

Yeah i do smell the hot brakes burning lol well i think that might be the case mate cheers ill have a look at that and see what i can do

now with the fuel tank is it easy to pull of can anybody do a job like that ??

4 bolts and a couple of hoses
i jus did mine it isnt that hard

Wait... Aren't you supposed to drink the metho? D: Well that is where I went wrong. Haha jokes.
Oh and while your tank is off you might as well pull apart the fuel gauge sensor and give it a clean. And use an air compressor hose to remove any dings

Can the zook run on metho ?? lol but if its an easy job i mite do it cause ive got one big ding in it lol so might fix it up while its off

as long as there is petrol in there too, metho shouldnt hurt it, it will mix with the water and burn it away

Narrow track sierras have a drain bung in the bottom of the tank. Widetracks don't.

What makes you think you have water in the tank? Personally, I don't think metho will work for any volume of water - you'd have to add too much to absorb any reasonable quantity. I'd pull the tank if you have a reasonable suspicion.

Yes, you need to rebuild the RHF brake caliper.

Only when i brake ?? its weird cause you would think its the left one yeah ? but then while driving, it does pull to the right

And about why i think theres water in the tank lol

Didn't look like the filler was under for any period of time.

Might be worth dropping the tank... but is it running OK? I'd leavewell enough alone if it's running fine.

Yeah it was deeper but i got the back end up in the vid, but since then the car always stall when it gets 3/4 left on the gage so thats just my guess, and it never did that before the water and the sinking lol

But ill pull it off and check it out
