Hey guys, my mate wants to by my M/T Baja claws and f100 offset rims. So I'm in the need to buy new wheels and tyres. Have a few in mind but don't know exactly what I want. What do you's reckon?

1. Maxxis treps
2. Super bobbers
3. Simex ET's
4. Good Year M/T (with Kevlar)

Going after a 31x10.5R15..

I'm after aggressive tyres as you can see. Anyone had any experience with these tyres?

The treps and goodyear mt's are in a totally different league to the other two you have up . What terrain do you drive on?

Super boggers. Stupid spell check. I do road,mud, beach, rocks so abit of everything( well not at the moment, half way threw a 4AGE conversion) but I'm just after an aggressive tyre that's not Gunna let me down. I'm not worried about road noise or vibrations just want a decent aggressive tyre.

you want more of an AT pattern then... swampers and simex are a mud only tyre.

So far im very impressed with my new KM2s.

I am also in the same boat and will be looking for tires soon. I want it for road and forest tracks (state forest roads and tracks as in my avitar). I will be going at least 31's if possible 33's would be great. Current set up is 2 inch body lift 2inch spring lift and G16A in my Sierra. Suggestions would be good.

the KM2 are available in 33x10.5 which is pretty awesome.

mmmm, I've seen both prove themselves in terrain other then mud. And "swampers" is a pretty broad range of tyre lol

Treps arnt very agresive in 31's

i have tsl's and its a hate/love relationship...

they work well no doubt about that but getting sick of huge vibes for the first few kms every time i drive her!

for what i drive here, the simex were terrible in summer, they just dont handle shale and rock at all, lateral stability was a huge problem too.

while swampers is broad, most people are referring to the TSL style pattern when they refer to them.

Yer the maxxis is a bang for your buck tyre. I used to work at bob Jane for over a year. Pretty keen on the swamper super boggers but just got to get a few prices when I get to work. Been looking on eBay and can pick up some Yokohama M/T's for $900. Haven't heard of many ppm running them but from reading up on them when I was at bob Jane they seam to be a really good tyre.

procomp exterrains i have found a pretty good tire. few peoplw over here run them on a wide veriety of vehicles and and sizes.
in the sand there isnt muc they will beat them pretty good on rocks and mud, great agressive all rounder.
as it seems i have a set of a mates that are for sale, 31x10.5 r 15 done 3000kms.
i run mt claws and love them tho

Yer I run Baja claws(was on the car when I bought it). They are good but I'm not a big fan of the Mickey Thompson range.

Something simple like a maxxis bighorn would really be fine for all terrains. It all comes down to the lines you pick and the pressures you run, especially when we're only talking about 30 and 31" tyres.

i think tread pattern plays a far bigger part in smaller sized tyres than with larger ones... larger tyres have the tread length going for them when aired down and will be less fussy on the same terrain - but a smaller sized tyre really needs to have the right pattern for the job to get the most out of it.

I run 235/75 bighorns on a 15 x 7 inch rim..they finish at about 29 inch..probably a bit light on for you..but on and off road I think there a good tyre..all I have is 50mm suspension lift with longer shocks and ext bump stops..no scrubbing probs.. oh and a bit of angle grinding on the bumper out riggers in the front.

I run 30x9.5 on a 15x7 - 13. Maxxis treps.

I've personally found them capable on anything. They're quite on road, brilliant in mud, decent on rocks and sand.

They're directional, which is probably why they're quiet on road and work well in the mud.

If your after an aggressive tire these are sensational. Wouldnt look at anything else, otherwise swampers if it's not going to see a whole lot of road use.

Federal corougia? best bang for buck tire if you ask me, supper agressive yet no noise on road, handle the rocks fine, yet to test them up the beach yet though. (mine are 235/75/r15 so smaller than teh size your after but perform and get me everywere my 31" baja MTZ did [31/10.5/R15])

when i was looking at new tires i REALY wanted 32" SX swampers.....

But due to a few facts.. like PRICE and availability it just was not a option, put it this way cheepset i could find them was $570 a tire and 6ish month wait..

i had settled on a set of silversones at $240 a tire but then my tsl swampers came up and i jumped on them!

when i was looking it seemed that interco has stopped production on most of their tyres... i think in part due to a factory move to china and them not getting the quality right, and the other part due to the crappy economy.

I have a 2 body, 2 spring and 2 shackle.. diff moved forward an inch and am running 32's.. pretty keen on fitting 33's but I dunno whether they will scrub or not.. might have to extend bump stops a bit. If anyone has any past experience with this setup let us know!
