update carby are back off the car
the trottle cable bubble at the end doesnt fit in2 the carbys 1 and the air filters fowl up on the break booster. i need about 15mm more room so its a new set of redline airfilters that im getting ordered in as we speak which will give me that room easy
but other than pulling the carbs off and having 2 put the old 1s back on its been ok found a few other little things i have 2 mod 2 make it easyier so well back 2 the drawing board

nandor, the little metal bubbles or bulb at the end of the cable can be bought from sprint auto parts in a range of sizes. i just used one on my throttle cable because my cable was too long and slack after puting in the 1.6.
I just cut the old bulb off and you slide the new one on to the desired length and then tighten the screw.
Thats assuming its the same as the car style ones.

well everything is set up ready 2 go im so happy got new cable got all my fitting and hoses set up so its an easy bolt on had 2 put a t piece in so that i can run a vac line 2 my dizzy and 1 2 the fuel res and 1 2 the break booster
so yeah set the carbs 2 2 1/2 turns which is the base setting 4 the stage 3 jet kit and i may have 2 tap 4 nipples in2 my manifold 4 my vacum gauges 2 help with tuning but trying 2 find a very small 4mm nipple thats threaded so i can tap them in with out drilling 2 big a hole in the manifold
so yeah everything else is done so yeah will b going on on thursday morn after i drop my mrs off at her exams

Are you going to be running those air filters off road.
Those things suck in everything bar 1/4inch rocks.
If you hold it up to the light can you see through the filter?

My first thought was I WANT IT, but then I remember my old 265 hemi running the triple webbers.... I could never figure out where the laptop plugged in to get the tuning right!
Bloody good effort mate!

Make an airbox and duct some cool air into it. Havind the air/foam filters exposed like that has to be hurting you when it gets hot
