funny, i was having the same thought the other day. then i drove a xl7 :( wasn't real excited by what it had to offer in the power department considering how much people whinge about economy. if it turns out my heap is still underpowered with the j20 i won't be going half hearted again, i'll measure up a 1uz or dare i say commo v6.

think about all the extra weight the XL-7 is lugging around, in something like a Vitara or a Sierra it would hammer.

now make with the pics tanshi

h27 outputs 135 kw
a much larger commo v6 only outputs 150kw, from what should be a much lighter motor in the h27 i know which one i would choose.

1uz well that would be fun, but in no way is it ever going to be road legal

what details do you want?

i had a g16 in mine already so alot of the wiring was transferable, i.e outputs to lights, inputs from ignition etc.

Well when it comes to wring Im a complete nuff!

Step by step windows for dummy style would be great! this is a tech thread after all.

Just a run down on any probs or guidelines that you would suggest.

Im guessing its about 5 to 8 wires more than a G16B??

I reckon a PJ-style ECU pinout layout would be good 8) Much like he did for the Baleno

cool.

The more I think about it, the less I want to sell this J20. Besides, it seems alot easier to onsell my G16, than sell the J20 :?
