I'm thinking about doing the H4 upgrade.
I have a couple of question:

-Is H4 upgrade with the same watt globes as standard and improvment over the standard.

-Is it neccessary to up grade the wiring?

I did the conversion. The reflector is not the glass its the silver bit, so you loose less light relected. But, yes heaps better light.

You dont need to change anything as you are doing the conversion for a better light spread and to use the H4 globe which is heaps easy to get replacements for. As opposed to the suzuki spec version which you have to order and its just plain shit. H4 gives you a million and one options.

I myself have HIDs in mine.

If you're gonna spend on some decent globes, upgrade the loom while you're at it... $5 worth of cable and a couple of relays, why wouldn't you make the most out of the globes?

I went to H4 reflectors and globes without doing the wiring. It was a slight improvement.
I went to higher wattage globes and I swear the lights were worse.
Then I upgraded wiring and the improvement was like 300%.

I'd do wiring straight off the bat. It made the biggest difference.
