Hi guys, how's everyone going?

I was going to purchase the new Calmini SAS kit, but it's taking forever to be produced. So I'm thinking about just buying the 3" super articulation kit. But I was speaking to the owner of a very well known 4WD shop the other day and he was saying he's fitted a few Calmini kits and the don't work properly in RHD vehicles. He also went on to say he wouldn't buy any of suspension gear because of this issue.

So has anyone on here had any issues with them or is he trying to push his own product?

Cheers guys

Many many guys on here have that kit and they seem to work pretty well. If I get a vitara it's what I'm buying too.
But the struts are crap apparently.

There is nothing stopping you putting a Vit kit in there is nothing different LHD to RHD

I have had both a Calmini 3" kit for a Vitara and a 2.5" kit for a GV and both of them where fine.

I did find that they both had to be broken in and they seem a bit stiff at first, but both of the cars I had came good.

I have also been involved with the Calmini 5" S/R kit for a Sierra and it is the same, bit stiff at first but everything settles in.

The IFS kits work fine LHD/RHD, but the SAS kit won't with all the new steering gear that's required, so don't go there.

I've just put in RIKSTRs old 3" kit, minus shocks and struts, and while I haven't had it in long enough to give any meaningful feedback it all went in fine.

As mentioned above struts and shocks aren't exactly highly regarded, and Atari managed to trash a heim joint, but otherwise the kit seems OK.
