Hey guys,

Picked up my first little 4x4 in a 93 SJ70 Sierra. It has 15 inch 225/60 on it at the moment.

I've been offered some 15 205/65 inch Vitara wheels/tyres from a mates, mates mate whos is currently selling them.

Will Vitara 15 inch wheels fit onto a Sierra? Yes probably a stupid question but im new, go easy on me!

they bolt on fine, however vitara rims are offset more towards the centre of the car, so they tyres will sit further in the guard and they look a bit strange

double check your tyres sizes there too, I think you've got the profile numbers wrong

Thanks for the quick response mate, yea good chances I have going off memory on the car (its not here at the moment) and the new ones just what i was told.

I guess as long as they fit the offset will be ok

They're actually sillier than in the picture of Jonno_racings coiler - coiler's came with vitara offset rims from the factory because they have wider track. (Yes, really - just one more thing that's whack about coilers)

It's a terrible idea. The car ends up about 2" narrower overall. If you run larger than stock tyres, they will start to foul on stuff like inner guards and front shock mounts too.

I have two sets of vitara rims behind my shed, including a set of V6 alloys. I have idea what I'm ever going to use them for.

What's wrong with the Sierra wheels?
If it's just the tyres you want, swap them over.
