For what this guy is charging now  for an ugly bar with a 6 week turnaround, I would rather spend my money on a quality ARB bar

i got one of the ally bars when they where still $600. fitting it was easy and its pretty good quality even for what they are going for now.

In terms of strength what would you say?
Are the mounts solid and where is the main anchor point for the bar?
How heavy is it?

Any chance of some close-up pics, detail shots of mounts etc.

Very happy with the Jimny compact transfer guard from MIC. Fitting was a piece of cake and everything lined up perfectly.

I read that as well.

To my surprise I got a parcel from them today. (Only been on order for about 8 or 9 weeks !!)

Lower control arm skid plate kit
Fuel tank skid plate
Transfer case skid plate

Nice and cheap. They seem to be good quality - time will tell.

Alrighty,

My $2600 worth of MIC accessories has arrived. Started to open the packages last night and shall be fitting this weekend. Expect a full review with pictures soon. I've essentially bought everything except for the front diff guard.

Mic does accessories for jeep, Suzuki and Toyota. I have purchased stuff from them. As far as I can tell it's a one man operation out of a Sydney inner west suburb. He was pretty good. Got my stuff in around a week and packed nicely

Yep, I haven't really started yet, but the items have been packed well and communication is good. He always answers the phone and responds well. All good so far.

I got it contact with that company about a suspension system, which shipped to my door was'nt that much cheaper than the tough dog. When I responded I wasn't interested he asked why I wasn't interested. I explained it was too expensive, I did'nt know enough about his reputation, and was not totally convinced of the quality of the components compared to OME or Tough Dog. He did offer to review the price and told me OME were to soft. They're suspensions are apparently a 'sports' suspension, which too me means rock hard and no flex. Because of this fact I still was'nt interested. He did seem a little pushy to me, but that might just be the Asian haggler coming out in him.
I ended up with a 40mm OME kit I purchased brand new on Ebay for just over $500. Yes it's soft, but I love it.

Does that everything include a rear bar? It's the thing I'm most interested to see more about.

Messaged them about the rear bars and got a reply - they still sell them, but they aren't listing large items on ebay anymore because they were getting too negative feedback from people cracking it about made-to-order waiting time.

1000$ is a good price

if u think about the fact that every front bar cost 1000ish$, to pay the same price for a rear one it doesnt seem too bad

Agreed $1K aint alot of money for a full replacement rear bar.

The patrol and cruiser blokes py upwards of $2K for Kaymar rear bars. Dual swingaway is around $3.5K 8O

Yep,
Out of all the stuff I've fitted, the rear bar is the best. Haven't forgot about posting pictures yet, I'm still fitting it all taking my time.

Finally posted some pics along with my opinions of my MIC kit. Have a look. I'm quite happy with it all. If I had loads of cash I'd get some better rock sliders and and ARB front bullbar instead, but all the rest of the stuff is superb, and the not-so-good stuff is still ok for the money. Better then nothing for sure.

MIC is at it again - seen the new "lightweight" front bar?
It looks like an alloy copy of those jap front bumper kits.

Might suit those who want more clearance and protection than a bumper chop and less weight than a bullbar. Still not sure on the styling though...
