Hi guys,

Should my Calmini front springs be on an angle? My mechanic says they don't look right and I agree with him lol. I'm assuming they won't flex properly if they're slightly bent?

Cheers

Sounds like ur coils are either not seated correctly or the front springs are around the wrong way :)

Its from the angle of the bottom arms due to the lift

Have a look at teh bottom of the spring to check the tail of the coil (where it stops and the wire is cut) is sitting in the little recess to teh rear of the arm so its supported all teh way around the bottom loop

I would only be worried if it was really hard against the tube inside the coil that the bumpstop is mounted too

the springs will settle over time, do you have any extra weight over the front end? eg, dual batts, winch, bar as the kit is really designed to run with some extra weight & rides much better.

I have a small shitty bullbar with some lights. I'm going to get the ARB bullbar in about a month.

Thanks
