is a gti 89 engine the right one for drover...$600 for complete car minus seats aircon will a barina aisan carby fit drover 1.3 will wt fuel tank fit nt thanks for some help if that price is ok i will buy now engine 220000 km

I would not be paying 600 for an engine with 220,000 km on it !

Q1. is an 89 GTI motor the right one for conversion into a drover
Q2. will a barina carby fit a drover 1.3

A1 Yes.
A2 Not sure but it might.
A3 Yes
If its running and OK its not a bad price. If you are getting the whole car there should be a computer and wiring.

I wouldn't say the price is wrong......just the mileage. Too high. Personally I would just wait for the next one with lower kms to come along, but given the age of these motors a rebuild is almost a certainty.

given the fact gtis arnt exactly plentiful for under 1500, id say buy it straight up!!!
