hey guys im new to this forum and just bought a sierra. i just purchased a weber carby from the states with a water choke. im just wondering if anyone could help me with reversing it. at the moment i dont know if i can plug the pcv valve safely. could someone please help?

Welcome!

Do you have the adaptor plate? By reversing I assume you mean with teh fuel bowl closer to the firewall. It should just bolt up.

You cannot plug the PCV off completely but you can vent it to atmosphere using a small filter

yer i want the fuel bowl facing the firewall so that the carby will flood downhill. however i didnt really look into it when buying it. i shouldve gone for the manual choke, because atm everything lines up except the pcv valve on the manifold is in the way of the water choke.

Sorry I should have been more clear. You can omit and blank off the port in the intake and just vent the rocker cover to atmosphere or if your airfilter base has a provision for the crankcase breather, connect the rocker cover port to it.
