well stranger things have happened. but today i was fixing some "little things" in the zook, adjusted the alternator, (as it was hitting the rag joint) started the car and its seized as in belt slipping over pully. backed off the bolts (bottom and adjuster) the same, took belt of, and i couldn't even spin it buy hand.... the alt had been making no noise and charging well for as long as i can remember...
any ideas? i will pull it out tomorrow but a bit random that it just stopped. it was charging fine when i switched the car off!

Did someone sneak up and fill it with glue?
EDIT: Actually silly question but were you welding near it or something like that? Slag into it and locked up or something?
Ignore that if you weren't welding and go back to my ninja glue remark!
