like the topic says, i wanna removal all my fan/heater unit in my sierra, would this be hard orr??
dont need it and want to put a checker plate dash where it all is.

Need a functioning front demister (windscreen air) to be road legal

Yeah you have to have a front demister to be legal. If you still want to get rid of the heater controlls you can do what a few of my mates with road legal drag/drift cars have done and just put a 12v hair drier under the dash and put a switch to it.

I've often pondered a cheap and effective way to get around that law when removing/modifying a dash...

Hey mate I've taking the whole heater box out of my ute
pretty easy... runs a snailfan for a demister

You have to re-route the heater hose back to the engine
and
there is one lug with a nut on in the centre of the box which goes threw the firewire holding it in place..

If ur really keen p.m me and I can send pics or mayb even come over and show you on my ute..
