can someone explain to me the correct angle shackles should be front and rear?
pictures of bad and good would be great.
ive looked threw search but cant find exactley what im looking for,

when the spring is fully compressed the angle should be around 20 degrees off horizontal and at ride height it should be around 50 degrees from horizontal.

ive always made them at a 45 degree angle at normal resting height. works for me.

Whoaaaa wtf is that!! Looks like a 2inch rear up the front with only the rear hanger holes drilled back a bit with a stock shackle.

From my calculations and actual setup, you don't want the shackle angle no less than ~13-15degrees fully loaded. Otherwise it will unload the shackle (force becoming pure horizontal and not vertical).

2 inch springs
front mount moved 45mm foward
rear mount is standard

once i get all my weight on im going to cut of the rear mount and move it back until the correct shackle angle

EFS or some other long 2inch rear?

Then push your rear back 35mm no less! You want you eye-eye center-line to be 990mm no less! This will give you 5-10mm more spacing than the stock rear (depending on what yours measures to 980-985). Why a bit more than the stock rear spacing? Simply put, the longest aftermarket spring for the rear (EFS) is borderline too long for the stock rear spacing anyway.

They are ome 40mm leafs
Eye to eye now is 950mm

I've got about 100kg more weight to go on the front of the car yet

lol nup, not the best shackle angle I have ever seen, spesh the bottom one.
