I'm not a massive fan. The are not beyond saving though, but they have all of the coilies floors, and then some. I just think that suzuki should have done more with them.

All the Coilys' flaws and then some?.....I tend to dissagree. You can get a heap of aftermarket gear for them, something that cannot be said about the coily. Also, the suspension design is far superior to the coily.

I owned a Jimny, it drove great. What was crap about it was it's rubbish G series engine, flexy front diff(no....not the suspension...the housing) and the awefull drum rears.

As soon as I find the right early Jimny for a project.....bye bye lwb Sierra!

IMO i find my jimmy to be superior to the sierra. alot softer on road. quieter, and alot comfier in the cab. yes they area little underpowered and suzuki should have opt for the 1.8 from factory, but same could be said about the sierra and 1.6,

as for the quesition at hand. that jimny on car sale is very nice, but imo its over priced. and i will never buy another car that has been modded, as you cant trust that the quality in which the parts were fitted to be up to you satisfaction. also that jimny would more then likely travel shocking as it still runs stock gearing and transfer.

A brand new jimny is one of the only cars that I would consider buying brand new because you don't loose twenty grand the day you drive it out of the showroom, for obvious reasons.
The way I see it they are going to stop making em soon, the model is thirteen year old and they come with alloys, abs, air con, good towing capacity and warranty. To get a new car as capable as a jimny for 22 grand is pretty good value.
