when ordering calmini kit for the vit should i get their camber bolts with it i know that the longer control arms are meant to bring the camber back to normal. what have you guys found with the kit does it come out sweet?

just about to pay for the blue bits and their camber bolts are only $50. just didnt know if it was worth it or not.

Yep 100%, I went without them for years & it only just had positive camber after the springs settled so i never bothered & got used to the way it drove.

They've been in there for a couple of weeks & it's so much nicer to drive, better turn in, more grip, over all has a better feel & it seems returns to centre nicer.

cheers i may as well get the calmini ones and get them sent at the same time. those ones are $25 for one plus $12 for postage. im a bit sick of how mine drives bad camber coupled with bad bushes and the top ball joint on the diff isnt that great put a loaded trailer on the back and it borders on dangerous. hence the reason for the blue bits

having correct camber makes highway driving so much better. doesnt wander as much. my car use to screech around corners as well due to the lack of tread touching the ground. Camber bolts are worth every cent IMO. not to mention it doesnt wreck your tyres with uneven wear.

how safe would it be elongating to top bolt holes on the strut and adjusting it that way?

anyone ever installed them top and botom to correct camber in big lifts? i might need to find a solution to my bad camber.

If you do that you have to weld a washer on it.. otherwise the bolt will more then likely slip around the elongated hole you've made.

running 40mm lifted coils and 20mm coil spacers with dobinson extended struts to give a total of 75mm of lift. (front dropped a bit when i fitted winch)

CV's are still ok as ive installed diff drop brackets. But camber looks out. gonna get alignment done soon when everything settles in.

That doesnt sound to bad actually.. im surprised one set of camber bolts isnt enough. dont dobinson struts have camber adjusted bolt holes. or is that OME only.

If not i would get them fitted !

I wouldnt wait till they settle in... get the alignment done now... i had mine done as soon as the lift was fitted, even when they settled, the alignment was still spot on...

you can always do the top bolt holes on the strut tower. when i put the body strut top blocks in the subaru i ground the holes to get the camber right it said to in the install. (they had made them to standard camber but standard was to much) they never moved and the way i drove that thing they would have if they were going to.

do you need (or good to have) camber bolts for 50mm lift?
do yous reckon those ebay camber bolts are good, theyre the cheapest ive seen..
will probably grab some before i finish my lift
