hi
I purchased what i thought was a one lt tcase a while a ago and have only just installed it to my wt sierra, i have searched on this forum but have read 2 different things.
Should my speedo change if i have a 1 L tcase? Because it didn't. And is there any way to tell if it is really a 1L tcase without taking it out.
sorry if this has been covered before
thanks
ryan

if ya noticed a difference in the way your car drove then ya should have the right case.

I didn't get much of a chance to drive before as i only just got my licence and i changed the carby as well, so that would have changed how it felt at the same time.

Is there any one that has installed a 1lt t-case, that can tell me if the speedo is meant to change?
I'm starting to think i got ripped off, i have checked my speedo with gps and it is spot on, i have checked what rpm i should be doing at a speed and it is closer to standard gears than the 1lt gears but i'm still not sure.

ok thanks, i had been told that it does and it doesn't so i wasn't sure. i think i will just put some bigger tyers on, then save for some real reduction gears.

Does a 1 litre case not contain different speedo gears than 1.3?

I had 1.3 speedo gears in my 1 litre with 31's and it made the speedo bang on as 4.1 diff gears and 31's are the same tailshaft turns per km as 3.9 and 205's

Well I know mine was altered by it, pretty sure all speedos are the same rev per km as well but everyone has so many different screwed up tyre combinations youd never know
