Lookin at getting a new soft top and was looming at the mu canvas full top with tinted windows. Anyone had one of these? Are they good quality? My last one was a pavement ends and it wasn't the best

MU bikinis and torneaus are great. My mate bought a full top and the fit was VERY loose. Flapped like a bastard! And it was almost double the price of a Bestop one from Lowrange.

Usually find the quality of pavement tops to be quite reasonable if looked after. What was the issue with it and how long did you have it for?

Never seen a MU canvas one in person but i know heaps of people on here and outers have 'em :)

The press studs kept breaking the zippers weren't the best quality. Wasn't major stuff but wondered if the others were better quality. I think it's been about 2 years

I think mine is an "Austop" I reckon eventually I'll get some webbing sewn across the bottom to reinforce the stud area, also might try and get the clear panel replaced.

Don't know what it'll cost me but knowing the right people will help a lot!

It looks to be a loose fit from your photos, would you say it is?

It's not fitted properly in that pic. It's only the rear part of the cage holding that up also. I don't have a factory hoop

perhaps you could buy a clear top and some vinyl restoration goo that they use on seats??? rubbing that into clear would surely tint it? lol

look locally for an upholsterer - theres tons around that can custom make you a soft top for not much coin.
