Be VERY carefull bracing a diff housing! You would be amazed how little it takes to warp a suzuki front housing when adding bracing!

Finding a late model front axle hub-to-hub won't be easy but maybe an early housing will be compatible. Late hubs are different to early, mainly due to ABS additions I think.

At this stage yes! I have been planing on bracing it for a while now, i maze as well do it, while the diff is out. If i can not find a late model diff in the next 2 weeks, i will get the diff straightened while i'm away and get the trusses sent over, so it ready, for when i get home from holidays

i know suzistore have the black jimny that was on here that had the 1.6 in it and got side swiped... pretty sure the front end on it is in good condition. i'd hate to think what the price would be hub to hub though!

But i guess if i tacked if to a soiled frame, then used the balanced welding method to keep it straight it should be right..or not???

I was always going to brace the diff either way, so i maze well beef it up while i'm at it. Oh and i still don't like your Paj

I would say no. The diff will bend from the knuckle to the bumpstop, not between the bumpstops.

As far as I can tell, all that thing is designed for is to stop you from scratching the paint on your diffs, and steal valuable diff clearance.

Certainly won't add strength to the housing.

I think that is more designed for front impacts like hitting a rock at a reasonable "fast" speed rather than protect it against bending... if im not worng

Ok! I got a price on a bear diff housing... suzistore want $450 for just the housing, should i grab it at that, price or look else where?

That's why just want a stripped out housing, so i can brace it, then swap every thing over in a day. My Dad think's i should look over east for a diff, if i find one over Brissy way, can i pay you to brace it?

My mate took one to the local dump cos he couldn't give it away!! Can't see how suzistore can charge $450 for a bare housing. There is FA demand for jimny diffs, which makes them worth nothing!
