Well it was 4.57am this morning and the 3" Calmini Super Articulation is fitted!

All went well, although an extra pair of hands would have been beneficial in a couple of spots- front diff drop brackets were tricky and also installing the rear V arm.

Now the question I have is where on the lower shock mount am I supposed to be grinding?! If anyone has a photo or a good explanation I would be much appreciative.

Btw the front lift is HUGE! An extra 100mm height over my Ironman setup. Keeping in mind though their is no engine in the front :(

Thanks Guys!

i think they mean to make clearance buy grinding some of the excess off the lower shock mount so the fat body calimini shock has room to move when articulated, i never bothered grinding it, i'm now running the commy shocks & have heaps of room.

Here is my standard Vit shock mount after grinding and some hammer work.
Grind it along the middle and top edge, you can probley get away from grinding but you will need to hammer it out a bit

And this mod after it still hit the shock body.

Thanks guys. Specially Suzuki boy for the pic.

I think I'll chance it, the strut and shock quality are shithouse ie. The valving is horridly loose and unpredictable. My Ironman struts have 40mm more travel and the strut shaft is much larger in diameter. If I dent them, I'll go the Gabriel commos and ome up front.

Na, together with the 2" strut drop brackets and the extra length on the struts I recon the CV would be very angry at full droop!
