hi ive rolled my vit on a hill climb ground under neath gave way n then ssent me on a tumbl way down passenger side roof has slightly caved due to impact and the whole windscreen is cracked all over am sad bout it partner an i came out cleaan apart from my index finger it broke due to me holding the steering wheel when i know i shouldnt of any way i want to fix vit up completely i want to cut roof off and make my own rollcage n use the as aroof is this possible and are there any ideas out there i could use to better my safety please let me know.....photos wil be up sshortly

I always thought a soft top 4 door vit would look cool, well, without the top anyway. It sounds like a fair bit of work in any case.

is it a lwb because there is a good body with no rust or dints sitting at my uncles he wants to get rid of and he wouldnt want too much for it

Just find another Vit and swap all your bits over. Cages are easier to build for the soft tops too

wow you smushed it good!

definitely look at doing a body swap - at least then you know all about the history of the mechanics of it rather than jumping into an all new vehicle.

dude, glad you're ok.... that could have been a lot worse!!!

i'd do as scrawn said, grab another vit put your good bits in it & then you could sell the bent off to someone wanting to re-power a sierra as a whole or part it out & get some cash back.

cars can be repaired, lives can't.

hey yeah new vit sounds like a good idea it'll be hard to part her out ( 1st car lol ) but it soundds like the better way to do it thanks for the idea scrawn.......SAFETY FIRST wear the seatbelts otherwise you'll regret it thas wat saved us

any ideas where i can pick up a cheap vit localy we dont have enough coin behind us atm so cheap in good condition is wat im after
