I would be keen to hear anyones experience with aftermarket hubs, my front left has done a seal or something, I have grease all over the place & I thought I may as well upgrade them instead of just replace them with another set of stock hubs, before anyone gives me heaps for letting it get like this it was like this when i bought it, i wouldnt let this happen to it in the first place

is your locking hub fucked or the swivel hub?
I'm unaware of aftermarket swivel hubs...

Wow that is filthy. Look like your axle seal is leaking, and would of washed the grease out of your cv, and attracted dust and everything..!
Clean it all, regrease bearings and put a hub seal kit through it with a new axle seal in the housing.
The Aisin manual locking hubs are good. No point in upgrading.

Ah gotcha.
No need to upgrade unless you've blew one to pieces
Just reseal/rebuild everything and go wheelin'

Just making a point, that there isnt a huge reason to buy new hubs unless its blown to bits, or similar haha.

It looks like the ball is very badly scored so you will need a new axle housing as and then rebuild with a seal kit.

yeah theres lots of fine little bits of metal there, might be better off trying to get my hands on a pair of complete WT diffs with NT spacing, then put a seal kit through the hubs on those, might be a bit hard to find some that are complete disc to disc though

What, that's only slightly worse than my leak...
You can understand why I want to get new bearings and seals e.t.c.
