I have a leak somewhere on the jimny. Seems to be splashing around off the gearbox, but near the top where I can't quite see it. It's not enough to drip onto the drive, but its splashing the underneath of the car. Is this a known problem on a jimny? only 40,000k's, 2008? Or isolated? Any ideas?

ALSO does anyone know what the warrenty was on a 2008 jimny? I'm keen to get it fixed for free maybe

Just re read the question, I had the same thing in mine.
When I went for a service they said the gearbox had been over filled with Oil and they drained some out :?

Thanks for your help guys, Won't worry too much about it then, I suspect it's an overfill. Its definately gearbox oil I can tell from the smell.
