i was mounting my cb radio under my glove compartment and i thought it will be a good idea to mount it under the glovebox to the right hand side, i drilled into plastic and then i herd a hiss.
pressurized gas came out with white foam.
what have i hit :( help will be appreciated.

i've seen air con gas liquify near the hole in a white bubbled liquid, not as foamy as shaving cream or anything but.

but it happens ... Use to get a couple of cars a year where the owner put something through the evaporator.

Always was hard to not laugh out loud at them...

it shouldnt be that pricey. at least you KNOW where the hole is. just a patch and re-gas. maybe 200 bux

nah mate you are dreaming :crazy: :crazy:

if hes gone through the evaporator that will need to be replaced, ,more then $200 alone let alone the labour plus youre gonna need to have the reciever/drier done too (legal requirement with aircon stuff if its been unsealed)
