1.3L clutch cable.

Standard excedy clutch..

Hey guys I've searched and read up the manual.... Does the clutch release arm just face directly down towards the ground?

I'm having problems with adjusting my clutch cable, I've tightened it as much as I can, and the pedal still feels way to light. Like 100% freeplay...

The clutch and all that is in properly too...

Ive just done the same on my Sierra, with the same setup.
I had the arm angled abit towards the rear and by the time i adjusted it the arm was pretty well straight down.

The standard excedy clutch is nice and light compared to my old HD clutch that you almost had to stand on to work it and would wreak cables flat out.

Yeah if I have it straight down, I can't tension it up cause it pulls the lever forward, and then hits the gear box and has no leverage... And still 100% free play...

when the cable is tensioned it should be pointing straight down and a little to the rear.

start with the arm pointing backwards enough so that when you tension the cable the arm ends up pointing down.
