Was it running lean on the 1.3 ecu??

Don't the ecu's look for stoichiometric, and adjust fuel accordingly?

as long as the injectors can keep up it should be good no matter what ecu it runs?

Granted timing and such will not be optimum for the engine that is being installed (should be pretty close?) , but mixture should be the go, unless the injectors are too small?

Am I missing something here?
