Do you have feeler gauges, or able to borrow some, I never rely on factory setting with plugs.

If not its no real biggy, but if you can, just that little bit better.

I've just recently gapped & put a new set of plugs in & i'm back to getting reasonable fuel economy. was 14l/100 & now it's back to 12l/100

the plugs that came out looked good but they were very corroded on the outside nut section due to moisture in the deep plug holes on my motor, i'm guessing i was getting spark jump & not a great deal was reaching the electrode.

yeah for the fuel side im going to do all that and replace everything and for the gear box, drive it till it dies then make it manual
