Anyone bought one of these? It says for 2006-2011 models, but my Jimny is a 2005. I think it will fit cause the facia is the same, but dont know about the cableing.

It looks awesome, but I wander if I can run a sub or two off it?
Cheers

I've looked into it but so far there has been other things to do to the car before one of these.
Try this link: http://www.tradesolution.hk/e/ptxwebsto ... t/563.html
US$380 + US$59 postage = US$439 ~ AU$425 today
These guys used to sell on eBay and when I inquired they pointed me to their website which was $40 cheaper than the eBay buy it now price. They claimed that it was because they didn't have to pay eBay fees when selling direct. They still use PayPal on their site so payment should be easy.

Mine is '06 and doesn't have any. Was it even an option in the Australian market?

Dunno? There are alot of cables in the photo's, but thats probably just the dvd player and gps cables. It has a bluetooth option as well which would be really handy. Probably have to get that wired up proffesionally, the rest should be a piece of piss.

Wiring should all be plug and play. Here's what I see in the picture of the cables.
* GPS antenna. Place the antenna somewhere where it can get a good view of the sky. Plastic over it doesn't matter but don't place it under any metal objects as it will not see any/many satellites.
* Power and speaker connections. This should just plug straight in to the existing Suzuki plug in place of the old system.
* iPod cable. The multi colored end will plug in to the new DVD/GPS unit and the white cable is an extension to get from the round plug on the other cable to the iPod. There appears to be a small black connector on this cable that connects to the power and speaker cable as well.
* Auxiliary input cables. This appears to be extra audio and video inputs that would come from another source such as a CD stacker or reverse camera. There might be a video and audio out here too, not sure.

I've got one similar in my jimny... Go to www.dhgate.com or www.ankaka.com and have a look at theirs.
I paid around $320 for mine delivered about 12 months ago... Still goes strong... Gps is a little hard to get going but I'd be happy to program an sd card to anyone who supplies one.
Hope this helps!

From memory I got the "flux capacitor". They're all pretty much the same except for the buttons on the face, they just give them slightly lame names lol. Mine has the works... Gps, tv, bluetooth, DVD/cd, aux, reverse cam, iPod, USB, sd card reader.
