hi guys got a UHF for my sierra. not real sure were to mount it. i want it to look neat. i was thinking under the cd player? any chance of getting some pics up of your own setups? cheers

if i was to get an in-cab unit, theres the small ones that fit where the ashtray lives... if it were a big bugger i'd probably throw it under the glovebox so it was a little less obvious.

I stuck mine under the cd player but with a body lift it gave a bit more room so the gearstick didn't hit it

Mount it under the speedo dash....just left of the steering wheel
Nice and neat...out of the water and the handset is nice and close and it doesn't get in the way

Don't mount it under the glove box. Joel has this setup in his stockman and it is the biggest PITA if your a passenger.

What brand / modle is it cause they come in all shapes and sizes. I have a uniden uh015sx and I mounted it where the ashtray goes

I mounted mine under the stereo and the microphone is mounted to the left hand side of the centre column above the grab rail. UHF is a uniden

i cut out the spare button cover things. it's a GV though.
